Data controller

Data we collect
- Account: email address, password (stored encrypted, never readable) and, if you provide them, first and last name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google identifier.
- Your inventory content: item records, locations, photos, invoices, manuals and other documents you add.
- Messages you send us through "Give feedback" or by email.
- Payment: payment data (card details, billing address) is collected and processed directly by Paddle.com. We never see your card details. We only receive the status of your subscription.
- Technical data required for the operation and security of the service (connection logs).
Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the service and managing your account (performance of the contract).
- Sending service emails: sign-up confirmation, password reset or change (performance of the contract).
- Answering your messages and improving the service based on your feedback (legitimate interest).
- Keeping the service secure and meeting our legal obligations, including accounting (legal obligation).
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can access your data
- Only you can access the content of your inventory. The service administrator does not view it, except at your request to solve a problem, or where required by law.
- Technical providers: Lovable Labs Incorporated (hosting of the application and database, sending of service emails) and its technical subprocessors; Paddle.com (payments); Google (only if you choose to sign in with Google).
- AI assistants: if you connect an assistant (Claude, ChatGPT…) to your inventory yourself, that assistant accesses your data on your behalf, within the permissions you grant and under its own provider's terms.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers, including the host, are based in the United States. These transfers are protected by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (European Commission standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms).
Retention
- Account and inventory data: for the duration of your subscription (until the end of the paid period). When the subscription ends, the account is locked and the data is kept for 12 months from the lock, so that you can export it or subscribe again. A warning e-mail is sent 30 days before its permanent, automatic deletion. You can delete your account and all your data at any time from "My account": deletion is then immediate.
- Messages sent through "Give feedback": deleted with the account.
- Billing data: kept by Paddle.com in accordance with its legal obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You can export your data at any time from the application, edit your information in "My account", and exercise your other rights by emailing fabrice@geekpratique.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Cookies and trackers
The website only uses items that are strictly necessary for it to work and do not require your consent:
- two technical cookies set by the host on our domain: bot protection (30 minutes) and serving the correct version of the site (about 24 hours);
- once you are signed in, one local storage item that keeps your session until you sign out.
No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no Google Analytics. Anonymous audience measurement provided by the host is used, without storing anything in your browser. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies on its domain, under its own responsibility.
