1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Inventaire Privé service, available at inventaireprive.com and published by EI Fabrice BEAL (see the legal notice). Creating an account or using the service means you accept these terms.
2. Description of the service
Inventaire Privé is a web application for keeping an inventory of your belongings: item records with photos, storage locations, invoices, manuals and warranties, tracking of accessories and original packaging, archiving of sold or given items, and data exports. The service can also be used from an artificial intelligence assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT) through the provided connector, at the user's initiative.
The service is entirely software-based. It does not include any human service (advice, data entry, appraisal or valuation). Estimated values entered in the application are provided by the user and are for information only.
3. Account
Access to the service requires an account, created with an email address and password, or with a Google account. Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for all actions taken from their account.
4. Subscription and prices
Access to the service is offered through a monthly or yearly subscription, at the prices shown on the Pricing page at the time of purchase. Account limits (number of items, photos, attachments and locations, file size) are shown on the Pricing page and in the "My account" area.
Accounts created until 31 October 2026 at 11:59 pm (Paris time) are beta testers: the service is free for them until 31 October 2026 at 11:59 pm. Accounts created from 1 November 2026 get a 14-day free trial from sign-up, with no credit card required. After these periods, continued use of the service requires a subscription; otherwise the account is locked as described in section 7.
5. Orders and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it collects payment, issues invoices, handles applicable VAT and processes billing and refund requests, under its own buyer terms, which you accept at checkout.
6. Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (month or year) unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time, free of charge, using the subscription management link provided by Paddle or by emailing fabrice@geekpratique.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: you keep access to the service until then.
7. End of subscription, retention and deletion of data
After cancellation, full access to the service continues until the end of the period already paid. If a payment fails, access continues while Paddle.com retries the charge; it ends if the subscription is finally cancelled.
When the subscription ends, the account is locked: your data can no longer be viewed or edited in the application or through the AI assistant connector, but it is kept. While the account is locked, you can download all your data (items, photos and documents) as a ZIP archive at any time, or subscribe again to immediately regain access to all your data.
Data of a locked account is kept for 12 months from the start of the lock. A warning e-mail is sent 30 days before its permanent deletion; without a new subscription, the account and all its data are then deleted automatically. Subscribing again cancels this process.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from "My account", including while it is locked. Deletion erases all your data and files and immediately cancels any ongoing subscription.
8. Refunds

9. Use of the service
Users agree to use the service lawfully, not to upload unlawful content and not to attempt to access other accounts' data. In the event of a serious breach, the publisher may suspend or close the account concerned, after informing the user except in urgent cases.
10. Availability and liability
The publisher makes every effort to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access (maintenance, technical incidents, service provider failures). Users are advised to export their data regularly. The publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damage or for the accuracy of information entered by users.
11. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. In the event of a significant change, users will be informed by email or in the application before it takes effect.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a problem, users are invited to first contact fabrice@geekpratique.com to seek an amicable solution. Failing an agreement, the courts designated by law shall have jurisdiction.
